Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is reportedly ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey will reportedly miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The Welsh international is believed to have damaged his cruciate ligament during Saturday's 0-0 draw at Sunderland.

The 25-year-old managed to finish the match at the Stadium of Light, but subsequent scans have revealed the extent of the damage, according to The Mirror.

Dorus de Vries is now expected to fill in between the posts for the club's remaining Premier League fixtures, starting with Sunday's home encounter against Manchester City.
