Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Scott Carson has said that the team are prepared for the Championship playoffs.
The Latics will face Queens Park Rangers over two legs in the semi-finals, as both sides aim to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Having missed out the automatic promotion places due to a slow start to the campaign, Carson hopes that Wigan have found their form at the right time.
"It's going to be a challenge, but it's one we're all looking forward to," Carson told the Wigan Post.
"Whatever's happened during the season has gone, and it's all going down to two and hopefully three games where anything can happen. The prize is there – to get back in the Premier League, and it's what every player wants to do.
"It's a massive challenge and everyone can't wait to get into it. It's a one-off, tricky situation where you have to raise your game and make sure you're on your game when it matters."
The first leg of the semi-final takes place at the DW Stadium on Friday evening.
