West Ham United 'lodge bid for Andriy Yarmolenko'

West Ham United reportedly have a bid accepted for Borussia Dortmund's Andriy Yarmolenko.

West Ham United have reportedly tabled a bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Hammers have made an offer of £17.5m for the Ukraine international, according to Sky Sports News.

The report suggests that the Bundesliga giants have accepted the bid and the deal is on the brink of going through, subject to the player passing a medical and obtaining a work permit.

Yarmolenko, who is said to be have been a long-term target of Everton, joined Dortmund from Dynamo Kiev last summer in a deal worth £23m.

The 28-year-old has played just 18 matches since signing for Dortmund, but his time in Germany has been hampered by injury.
