West Ham United reportedly take an interest in signing young midfielder Daniel Camacho, who is currently contracted to Bolivian side The Strongest.

West Ham United have reportedly identified The Strongest midfielder Daniel Camacho as a potential signing.

The 20-year-old has impressed during his loan spell at Aurora, while the youngster has previously represented Bolivia at Under-17 level.

According to Eju!, West Ham have taken an interest in the player, and The Strongest president Ines Quispe has acknowledged that there is interest from an English team.

Quispe said: "A representative from the English club (West Ham) called me to let me know that they are interested in Daniel Camacho. The offer is for a sale. We've agreed that I will check the player's contract and the conditions in which he is on loan with Aurora.

"For The Strongest, it is a great joy that international clubs see the club as a showcase. We already have Henry Vaca playing in Peru. It is a great satisfaction for us."

West Ham would allegedly want Camacho to represent their Under-23s side before being considered for the first team.
