Sam Allardyce says that Jussi Jaaskelainen will remain at West Ham United for one more season after triggering a one-year contract extension clause.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will remain at the club until the end of the 2013-14 season.

The 37-year-old, who joined the Hammers last summer on a free transfer, has triggered a one-year contract extension.

"It's sorted," The Times quotes Allardyce as saying. "The option is linked into this year and kicked in with him completing the games. There is no doubt about the value of his signing."

Jaaskelainen has made 33 appearances in all competitions for West Ham this season.
