Winston Reid eyes top-half finish for West Ham United

Winston Reid reveals that West Ham are now looking to finish in the top half of the Premier League table following Monday's 2-1 victory at Sunderland.

West Ham United defender Winston Reid has revealed that the team is now looking to finish in the top half of the Premier League table following Monday's win over Sunderland.

The Hammers climbed up to 11th place in the standings as they beat the Black Cats 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.

Reid now hopes that he and his teammates can reach higher in their remaining six games of the campaign.

"We've still got a lot to aim for, we have six games left and we want to try and push as high as possible," he told the club's official website.

"If we can pick up another few wins here and there it would be good and hopefully we can keep the momentum going and get back to 10th where we finished last year."

West Ham continue their Premier League campaign on Sunday when Liverpool make the trip to Upton Park.
