Kevin Nolan believes that West Ham United will still be promoted to the Premier League even if they are forced into the play-offs.

Kevin Nolan has claimed that he is confident West Ham United will win the play-offs should the club miss out on automatic promotion.

The Irons look likely to enter the playoffs as they are five points behind second-placed Southampton with two games to play, but Nolan believes that his teammates have enough quality to still be promoted.

Nolan said: "Form going into the playoffs is crucial - you have got to keep the winning mentality going. We have won a lot of games this season and we have to ensure we keep doing that until the end of the season and finish on as many points as we can.

"If we get six points from our next two games, that will stand us in good stead for the playoffs if we have to go in them.

"I am very confident that if we go through the play-offs, we will go up that way. You have got to be confident with the squad we have got."

West Ham were relegated from the Premier League last season.
