Carl Jenkinson: 'West Ham United must bounce back against Tottenham Hotspur'

West Ham defender Carl Jenkinson calls on his teammates to end their four-game winless run when they travel to Spurs.

Carl Jenkinson has called on his West Ham United teammates to get back to winning ways when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

The Hammers suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the fifth round of the FA Cup last weekend, extending their winless run to four games in all competitions.

Jenkinson now hopes that West Ham can end a disappointing string of results by beating London rivals Spurs at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.

"Tottenham is a huge game, it always is anyway but particularly after a heavy defeat. There's a lot of disappointment around the club at the moment and we need to turn it around and get back on track," he told the club's official website.

"I think the main thing is that we have the players to play in the big games. We've got a good squad and good players here. Everyone seems to lift themselves for the bigger games that bit more. We have done very well in the big games and it's important that we keep on doing that. It's also important we focus on every game and win the other games too."

Jenkinson, who is on a year-long loan from Arsenal, has made 24 appearances for West Ham so far this season.
