Andy Carroll to start against Stoke City?

A report claims that West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is ready to recall Andy Carroll to his side for today's match against Stoke City.

Andy Carroll could return to the West Ham United starting XI for today's clash against Stoke City.

The striker came off the bench in the 1-0 defeat to Everton after completing a three-match ban for his sending-off against Swansea City.

However, Football Direct News reports that Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is ready to start Carroll, who missed the first half of the season through injury.

Today's match at the Britannia Stadium is a 3pm kickoff.
