West Bromwich Albion youngster Adil Nabi loaned to Indian side Delhi Dynamos

West Bromwich Albion's Adil Nabi becomes the first Premier League player to join the Indian Super League by signing for Delhi Dynamos on loan.

West Bromwich Albion youngster Adil Nabi has become the first Premier League player to join an Indian Super League club on loan.

The 21-year-old has signed a three-month deal with Delhi Dynamos, who are managed by Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos.

"I can't wait. It is going to be an amazing experience. Some of the players who are now going to India are the biggest names in world football and working under a legend like Roberto Carlos is a chance not to be missed," PA Sport quotes Nabi as saying.

"I have spoken to the gaffer (Tony Pulis) and he agrees that it can be a great development opportunity for me. To go out, away from all my home comforts, and experience life and different football."

Nabi will link up with former Premier League players John Arne Riise and Florent Malouda at Delhi Dynamos.
