Clarke, who took charge at The Hawthorns last summer, has guided the club to eighth position in the table with seven matches of the season remaining.
"The gaffer is great - very similar to Roy. Roy is always very organised and we always went into a game with a game plan, and that is very much the same with the gaffer now," Jones told the Daily Star.
"And more often than not, when we do that and perform to our abilities, we usually end up winning. They've both been massive and I feel like I've improved under the new gaffer this year."
West Brom host Arsenal in the league this weekend.
