Ben Foster: 'I'm ready to return'

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster reveals that he is fully fit after recovering from a broken foot.

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has admitted that he is delighted to be back in contention for a place in the first-team squad.

Foster has been absent since the second week of the campaign with a broken foot, but while he is regarded as the first-choice stopper at The Hawthorns, the former Manchester United man does not expect an instant return to the starting lineup.

The 30-year-old told the club's official website: "It has been a long, slow recovery but I'm really, really happy to be back. That's me fully fit now.

"We'll have to wait and see what happens on Saturday. Boaz Myhill and Luke Daniels have both done very well.

"Bo has been great. I know exactly what Bo can produce and his performances haven't surprised me. He's an international goalkeeper and he's been absolutely brilliant."

Foster could feature on the bench when the Baggies host Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
