There has been plenty of interest in Gestede after he scored 22 goals for Rovers last season, and Watford are the latest to be linked with the Benin international.
According to The Mirror, the Hornets have been told by Blackburn that they must fork out at least £6m for the striker.
Watford broke their transfer record yesterday by signing Etienne Capoue from Tottenham Hotspur.
