Watford announce signing of ex-Juventus full-back Marco Motta

Former Juventus full-back Marco Motta joins Watford on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.

Watford have announced that former Juventus full-back Marco Motta has joined the Championship club.

The Hornets confirmed via their official website that the 28-year-old will finalise the switch once international clearance has gone through.

Motta, who made his full international debut for Italy in 2010, was released by Juve earlier this year after failing to make his mark in Turin.

During his time at Juventus, the full-back was sent out on loan to Catania, Bologna and Genoa.
