Preview: Watford vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to Watford's home clash against Bolton Wanderers in the Championship this weekend.

Watford may be 10 places higher than Bolton Wanderers in the Championship table, but they are facing a side that are unbeaten in their last seven league fixtures.

Gianfranco Zola's men welcome the Trotters to Vicarage Road this weekend following a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough before the international break.

It has been an inconsistent period for the Hornets, who have secured just one victory in their last six, while also suffering defeats to Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers.

However, they remain just one point away from the playoff spots, while Saturday's visitors reside five places above the relegation zone after 15 matches this season.

As mentioned above, Bolton manager Dougie Freedman has not witnessed his side lose a match since a 3-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on September 21.

However, only three of the seven unbeaten fixtures have resulted in victories, one of which came in the form of a 3-1 win over Millwall.
