Watford striker Odion Ighalo has said that the club's next two games are like finals as they look to win promotion from the Championship.
The Hornets top the table by a point from Bournemouth and Middlesbrough, with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion and a home match against Sheffield Wednesday left to play.
Ighalo insists that Watford are taking nothing for granted now that their future is in their own hands.
"We are where we want to be but we still need to win our next two finals," he told BBC Sport. "We have our promotion ticket in our hands and we cannot afford to miss out on making history.
"Right now the attitude is to do the perfect business by winning at Brighton and hopefully complete the job at home on the final day.
"It's all about the strong mentality and I share a dressing room with players who are not getting carried away because we are top of the table."
Watford moved to the top of the table by beating Birmingham City on Saturday.
