Wales fans face UEFA investigation

UEFA reveal that the Football Association of Wales may face punishment for the conduct of some of their supporters against Andorra.

UEFA have confirmed that they have opened disciplinary proceedings against the Football Association of Wales regarding the conduct of some of their supporters in Andorra last night.

Gareth Bale's winning goal nine minutes from time sparked scenes of wild celebration from the travelling fans, some of whom spilled over on to the pitch.

The referee was not able to restart the Euro 2016 qualifier until the spectators, urged on by goalscorer Bale, had returned to their seats.

The FAW will learn if they are to face any punishment at a meeting on October 16.
