Recent Wales form pleases John Hartson

Former centre-forward John Hartson praises Wales for the "great run" of form that they are currently on.

John Hartson has praised the recent results that have been achieved by the Welsh national side.

Yesterday's 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifying victory over Cyprus means that Chris Coleman's side have lost just one of their previous eight matches.

"Great result for Wales last night. The lads are on a great run, 1 defeat in last 8 games. Delighted for Cookie and all his staff," Hartson wrote on Twitter.

Wales's defeat during that "great run" was inflicted by the Netherlands back in June.
