Preview: Hellas Verona vs. Lazio

Sports Mole takes a look at Sunday's Serie A encounter between Hellas Verona and Lazio at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.

Lazio will be vying to end 2013 with back-to-back victories when they travel to Hellas Verona on Sunday afternoon.

The Biancocelesti ended a run of six games without success by defeating Livorno 2-0 at home last weekend and could climb into eighth over the winter break if they take three points at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.

The hosts have bounced back from losing three in a row by taking four points from their last two games, leaving themselves in sixth, two points behind Inter Milan.

Andrea Mandorlini will have to do without Ezequiel Cirigliano and Vangelis Moras, who are both injured, although Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic also has a few holes to plug in his first XI.

Brazilian midfielder Hernanes is suspended, whereas Alvaro Gonzalez and Bruno Pereirinha both have injury problems.
