A report claims that Valencia have reached an agreement with Napoli for the loan signing of Eduardo Vargas.

Valencia have reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli for the loan signing of Eduardo Vargas.

The 24-year-old moved to the Italian outfit from Universidad de Chile in 2012, but has struggled to secure a regular first-team spot in Naples.

According to Marca, Valencia will pay Napoli in the region of £1.2m to secure the loan services of the attacker for the remainder of the season.

Vargas was allowed to move to Gremio on loan in January 2013, but has since returned to his parent club in Serie A.

If the move is sanctioned this week, then Vargas could make his debut against Espanyol at the weekend.
