Nuno hails 'complete performance'

Valencia boss Nuno praises his side following Sunday's 3-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga.

Valencia boss Nuno has hailed his team following Sunday's 3-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga.

Goals from Dani Parejo (2) and Javi Fuego helped Valencia claim all three points, which moved Los Che above Sevilla into fourth spot in the table.

"We played a very complete game at all levels, although maybe not so much in the first half when we gave away too much possession," Nuno told reporters.

"In the second I'd say we might have scored more goals and with the chances we had we could have been talking about a different result.

"Sevilla were ahead of us in the table and have some very good players as well as a good coach, so to beat them fills us with pride. In the first half we could have lost concentration but managed to stay calm and the referee was not on our minds."

Valencia have won 12 of their 20 league games this season, losing just three times, which is the same number as Real Madrid and Barcelona.
