Jurgen Klinsmann extends USA stay until 2018

USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann agrees to remain as manager of the country until 2018 following a four-year contract extension.

USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann has agreed to remain as manager of the country until 2018, having agreed a four-year contract extension.

Klinsmann has also agreed to the new title of technical director of the US Soccer Federation, with an announcement being made on Thursday.

The German will be leading the United States out in next year's World Cup in Brazil as they share a group with Germany, Ghana and Portugal.

Klinsmann originally joined the US as head coach in July 2011.
