Team News: Edinson Cavani leads the line for Uruguay against Jamaica in Copa America match

Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez names an unchanged team from his side's friendly win over Guatemala for their Copa America clash against Jamaica.

Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez has named an unchanged team for his side's Copa America opener against Jamaica.

La Celeste keep faith with the same starting lineup that hammered Guatemala 5-1 in their friendly match last week as Edinson Cavani leads the line alongside Diego Rolan.

Luis Suarez misses the tournament as he serves his suspension for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup last year, while Martin Caceres, Diego Lugano and Sebastian Abreu are also out due to injuries.

Jamaica's lineup features a number of players who ply their trade in England as Leicester City's Wes Morgan and Reading's Michael Hector anchor the defence along with Adrian Mariappa of Crystal Palace.

Derby County's Simon Dawkins, Reading's Garath McCleary and Leeds United's Rodolph Austin feature in the midfield, while former Ram Giles Barnes and Darren Mattocks will lead the line for Winfried Schafer's men.

Uruguay: Muslera, M Pereira, Godin, A Pereria, Gimenez, Rodriguez, Arevalo, Lodeiro, Sanchez, Cavani, Rolan
Subs: Fucile, Hernandez, Stuani, Munoz, G Silva, Corujo, Coates, Gonzalez, Jonathan Rodriguez, M Silva, G Pereira, De Arrascaeta

Jamaica: Kerr, Mariappa, Morgan, Hector, Lawrence, McAnuff, Austin, Dawkins, McCleary, Barnes, Mattocks
Subs: Gordon, Brown, Parkes, Miller, Williams, Ottey, Grant, Thompson, Taylor, Gray, Laing, Watson
