Scotland Under-21 defender Callum Paterson agrees a three-year contract extension with Hearts.

Teenage defender Callum Paterson has agreed a new three-year deal with Hearts.

The 19-year-old has committed himself to the Scottish Championship club until summer 2017.

Paterson has scored 15 goals in 69 games for the team following his debut back in 2012.

The Scotland Under-21 international netted 11 times during the 2013-14 campaign, including a brace in a 2-1 win against city rivals Hibernian.
