Norwich City are preparing for their first campaign back in the Premier League, but Alex Neil still isn't happy with his squad. The Scotsman has admitted that he would like to bring in some more new faces before the window closes for business early next month.

DONE DEAL! Aston Villa youngster Callum Robinson, who spent last season at Preston North End, has now joined Championship side Bristol City on a season-long loan. Read more.

BREAKING NEWS! Ashley Young has now officially put pen to paper on a new contract at Manchester United. The England international starred for the Red Devils last season, with his form seeing him rewarded with a fresh two-year deal.

Some interesting developments at Old Trafford this morning, as Louis van Gaal reveals that Real Madrid-linked keeper David de Gea will not be considered for selection against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. Read the Dutchman's quotes in full right here.

NEW CONTRACT! We brought you an update from newly-promoted Norwich City earlier today, where boss Alex Neil admitted that he was looking to strengthen his squad further. Well the Canaries have been handed a big boost with the news that Jonny Howson has extended his stay at Carrow Road.

Could Watford be about to complete an 11th summer signing? According to Sky Sports News, former West Ham United striker Alessandro Diamanti has passed a medical at the club and will sign on the dotted line in the coming days.

Burnley are busy making a few last-minute adjustments to their squad before the Championship season kicks off tomorrow and they've only gone and signed a youth prospect from Arsenal. More in this here.

Contrary to what quite a few United fans may believe, Louis van Gaal has labelled Angel di Maria's switch to PSG as a "big loss" for the Red Devils. More on this in here.

Karim Benzema to Arsenal is one story that doesn't seem to be going away, but Arsene Wenger might have finished the speculation once and for all with these comments in his pre-West Ham press conference.

Hull City have bolstered their squad even further ahead of the new season by bringing in Moses Odubajo from fellow Championship side Brentford for £3.5m. More here.

Could striker Saido Berahino be heading to White Hart Lane? Mauricio Pochettino has refused to comment on speculation, but did confirm that Tottenham Hotspur have a "private" target.

Hearts defender Jordan McGhee has been the subject of a bid from Ipswich Town this week, with the Championship side thought to have offered £250,000 for the Scottish Under-21 international. Head coach Robbie Nielson insists that their bid was "nowhere near" what the Scottish Premiership side would be looking for.

DONE DEAL! Greek champions Olympiacos have announced that they have signed former Leicester City midfielder Esteban Cambiasso. The Argentine had a chance to extend his stay in the Premier League, but turned down a new contract with the Foxes.


It's relatively quiet on the transfer front tonight, but here's one to perk us up somewhat as Louis van Gaal discusses the David de Gea transfer saga by claiming that Real Madrid have NOT tabled a satisfactory offer as of yet. This one is going to go on longer than Wenger's puffer coat.
