Welcome to Sports Mole's live transfer news on this fine Sunday morning. With Manchester City already having completed the biggest deal of the window so far, a £49m move for Raheem Sterling, they have grabbed the headlines again overnight. Reports are suggesting Saido Berahino could be on his way to the Etihad Stadium. More on that one here.

Meanwhile, news coming out of the red side of Manchester overnight is that Louis van Gaal has had enough of the David de Gea transfer saga. The goalkeeper has been linked with Real Madrid all summer and Van Gaal now seems to be ready to let the Spain international leave.

Could Rafael's time at Manchester United be coming to an end? The Brazilian, who made just 11 appearances for the Red Devils last season, is reportedly closing in on a move to Ligue 1 side Lyon.

North of the border now, and the ongoing saga surrounding Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan continues to rumble on. Rangers boss Mark Warburton has now revealed that a pre-contract could be offered to the in-demand star next January.

Jose Mourinho has admitted that Chelsea need to strengthen in defence ahead of the new campaign, but a move for John Stones may now be out of the question. The Blues are thought to have offered £26m for the Englishman, yet Mourinho has hinted that it could now be time to look elsewhere.

Clinton Njie is a name you may have already heard a fair bit this summer. The Cameroon international has been strongly linked with a move to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but Newcastle United are said to have opened the bidding war. Read more.

It was only a couple of summers back that Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins slapped a £30m price tag on forward Michu.... now the Welsh outfit are struggling to find the Spaniard a new club.

Well this is an interesting one. Charles Aranguiz is thought to have been the subject of a club-record bid by Leicester City this week, but the Chile international has now revealed that he does not want to join the Foxes.

Augsburg defender Baba Rahman will reportedly undergo a medical at Chelsea in the next few days before finalising a move. We've already heard from Jose Mourinho this morning, who openly admitted that strengthening his back four is a priority.

Pogba has been linked to a number of clubs this summer, and it finally looks like he could be joining Scottish Premiership club Partick Thistle. Of course, this is not Paul Pogba we are talking about, but his brother Mathias.

Angel di Maria's move to Paris Saint-Germain seems to be getting closer and closer everyday. A fee of £44m now appears to have been agreed, and the Argentine international will have his medical within the next 24 hours.

Sticking with Paris Saint-Germain, full back Gregory van der Wiel has claimed that he has been put up for sale.

Brazilian teenager Gerson could be on his way to AS Roma, who have reportedly had a £13m bid accepted by Fluminense. Read the full story here.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has dismissed rumours that Ashley Williams could be heading elsewhere, saying he expects the 30-year-old to do "very well" this season.

Southampton have reportedly made a bid in the region of £8m for Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk. The centre-back, who joined the Scottish champions from Dutch side Groningen in 2013, has also been linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Roberto Soldado is reportedly on the verge of joining Villarreal. The 30-year-old moved to Spurs two years ago from Valencia, but he has struggled for playing time and has managed just 16 goals for the club.

Arsenal looked in good shape ahead of the new season earlier today, but could they be about to enhance their squad even more? The Gunners are linked with Real Madrid's Karim Benzema are reportedly set to make a bid. Read here to find out more.
