Sweden's Olof Mellberg reveals that he will retire from international football after Euro 2012.

Former Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg has confirmed that he will retire from international football with Sweden at the end of this summer's European Championships.

The 34-year-old Olympiakos centre-back told Swedish broadcaster SVT earlier today that Euro 2012 "will definitely be my last" major championship.

Having made his international debut in 2000, Mellberg has gone on to win 112 caps for his country.

Sweden have been drawn alongside France, England and Ukraine at the tournament.
