Swansea City are reportedly close to signing Marseille attacker Dimitri Payet.

The 27-year-old, who has been with Marseille since 2013, has been linked with a number of European clubs this summer following his exploits over the last couple of seasons.

However, according to L'Equipe, a £7m fee has been agreed with Swansea, with the Frenchman due to complete a move to Wales in the near future.

Payet, who started his professional career with Nantes, enjoyed his most productive season with Lille in the 2012-13 campaign, netting 20 goals in 39 appearances.
