Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted that manager Michael Laudrup has the "full support" of the club's board amid rumours of player unrest.

It was recently reported that some members of the squad had grown unhappy with Laudrup's coaching methods, with the team failing to win a Premier League match since August.

"Michael Laudrup and his staff have the full support of everyone connected to Swansea City and will continue to do so during the long season ahead," Jenkins said in a statement.

"No doubt from time to time outside forces beyond our control will make attempts to unsettle our football club and we have to accept that.

"Swansea City will remain solid, on and off the football field, and will continue to fight against all the odds to compete at Premier League level."

The Swans are currently 11th in the Premier League table.
