Angel Rangel says that beating Stoke City would be the perfect reaction from Swansea City after two straight defeats.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel wants his side to get "back to business" in the Premier League after their defeat last weekend.

The Swans were brushed aside 3-0 by Everton at the Liberty Stadium in what proved to be their second consecutive league defeat.

The Welsh outfit face a trip to Stoke City on Saturday, and Rangel is adamant that a win at the Britannia Stadium would be the perfect reaction to their last league fixture.

"We will have bad games," said Rangel. "We have suffered two defeats in a row which is not great but we don't have to go crazy and act like we're a relegated team.

"Stoke is a difficult place. They caused us trouble from set pieces [last season] but we can compete.

"If we have the ball, hopefully we can go there and get a result."

The Swans survived a scare in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night as they twice came from behind to beat League One club Crawley Town 3-2.
