Swansea City manager Garry Monk has claimed that Wilfried Bony can have a similar impact on the Premier League to that of fellow Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba.
Bony has scored 11 goals in the league so far this season and Monk is backing him to get even better with the return of teammate Michu.
The Swansea boss also revealed that he has first-hand experience of just how strong Bony is.
"Wilfried can definitely have the same impact as Drogba," Monk told Sky Sports News. "I think he has shown that, and with Michu back, they will both want to be top dog and get goals for us.
"He is a real strong lad. He dislocated my finger on the first day in training. I went to push him off and my finger just snapped. He is solid."
Bony himself has said that he is not entirely happy with his first season in South Wales and is aiming to improve further.
