Swansea City's Michael Laudrup pleased with "great" result

Michael Laudrup says that he is pleased with how his Swansea City side played against Newcastle United.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has described his side's performance against Newcastle United on Wednesday as "great".

The Swans scored three times in the second half at the Liberty Stadium to get the better of the Magpies 3-0 in the Premier League.

"It was very good," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "We played very well against Man City in the first half. The difference is they scored the goals.

"Today we scored the first goal. To win 3-0 against a very good side is great."

Swansea are currently 11th in the league table with 18 points from 14 matches.
