Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng is desperate to score his first goal for the club next season, having failed to find the net in 39 games so far.

Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng has revealed that he is desperate to score his first goal for the club.

The South Korean international is yet to find the target for the Swans, following his £5m move from Celtic last summer.

"I need to score this season," Ki told WalesOnline. "That is my target, because at Celtic I did score some goals. It would be great to get that first goal.

"I haven't set myself a total, just when I have a chance I want to do my best. It's not easy to score when I have to play so deep."

Ki made 39 appearances for Swansea last season.
