AS Monaco have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Sunderland winger Adam Johnson.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs since the transfer window opened, including Liverpool and Everton.

However, the Shields Gazette reports that the Ligue 1 side are the latest team to show an interest in Johnson, who scored 10 goals in 45 appearances for the Black Cats last season.

Johnson joined the club for £10m from Manchester City in 2012.
