Sunderland are preparing to offer goalkeeper Craig Gordon a new deal on less pay, according to reports.
The 29-year-old, whose contract runs out this summer, is said to be attracting interest from Celtic.
According to The Mirror, the Scottish champions have only offered the Black Cats keeper a £12,500-per-week deal, much less than what he is currently on at the Stadium of Light.
It is believed that Martin O'Neill would like to keep hold of the Scotland international, who only recently returned from a lengthy knee injury.
However, reports suggest that Gordon may have to accept a lower salary if he is to stay at the North East club.
