Sebastian Larsson has encouraged his Sunderland teammates to start scoring more goals.
From their opening 11 Premier League games, the Black Cats have scored just 12 times.
However, having collected four points from their last two outings against Crystal Palace and Everton, the Swede has now called on the team to build upon that form.
"We've made ourselves hard to beat again, and the next thing is to add a bit more of a goal threat," he told the Sunderland Journal.
"Sunday [against Everton] was a very tight game, with not too many clear-cut chances, so we need to try to threaten the opposition's goal a little bit more. We had chances towards the end, so at least that showed we're heading in the right direction."
After the international break, Sunderland will take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
