St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas insists that his team deserved their point following Friday's goalless draw at Inverness in the SPL.

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas has insisted that his side deserved their point following Friday's 0-0 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League.

Saints goalkeeper Alan Mannus was called into action a number of times at the Caledonian Stadium as the visitors held out for a share of the spoils.

"We had two lapses in concentration from balls over the top, which could have cost us, but it would have been a travesty if we had not taken a point," Lomas told Sky Sports News.

"For an away performance, that's about as good as it gets in Inverness, because they've given some teams a real hiding here this season."

The draw was enough to move St Johnstone above Ross County and into fourth place in the SPL table.
