Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be in talks with Swansea City over a move for defender Ben Davies.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Swansea City over a move for defender Ben Davies.

It was claimed at the start of the week that Spurs had made a bid of £8m for the 21-year-old.

However, Swansea are understood to value the full-back at around £12m.

Despite the Welsh club's reluctance to sell the player, they are now in the middle of negotiations with Tottenham, according to Sky Sports News.

Davies's current deal at the Liberty Stadium is due to expire in 2017.
