Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris attempts to reassure supporters by once again claiming that he is "committed" to remaining at the club.

Hugo Lloris has promised Tottenham Hotspur fans that there "is nothing to worry about" in terms of his long-term future at the club, despite discussions over a new deal stalling in recent days.

The France international, who has two years remaining on his reported £90,000-a-week contract, is no closer to agreeing a fresh terms at White Hart Lane and talks have now been pushed back until next summer.

Mauricio Pochettino claimed last week that Lloris was "very happy" in North London despite the contract stand-off, and the Lilywhites' skipper has also now moved to play down suggestions that he could be on his way in the New Year.

"There's nothing to worry about," he told reporters on the eve of his side's meeting with AS Monaco in the Champions League. "It's not the right place to talk about that. The team is more important and this game is more important.

"Let's see what will happen. I feel fully committed to the club, I'm enjoying my time in Tottenham but only focused on this game."

Harry Kane is the other high-profile Spurs player yet to commit, with talks said to have stalled due to chairman Daniel Levy's reluctance to break through the £100,000-a-week barrier.
