Christian Eriksen reportedly met with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy on Tuesday to discuss a potential move to Inter Milan.

Christian Eriksen reportedly met with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy on Tuesday to discuss a potential move to Inter Milan during the January transfer window.

The Denmark international, who will see his contract with Spurs expire at the end of the season, is allegedly determined to secure a switch to Inter this month rather than waiting until the end of the campaign.

According to Sky Italia, Eriksen met with Levy earlier this week to reiterate that he wants to join Antonio Conte's side, while the attacker's agent Martin Schoots is set for a further meeting with the Tottenham chief in the hope of coming to an agreement.

The report claims that Inter have made an offer of £11m plus bonuses for the former Ajax playmaker, but the Premier League club are looking for closer to £17m before sanctioning a January exit.

Despite the speculation surrounding his future, Eriksen continues to be used by head coach Jose Mourinho, who has confirmed that the attacker will also be involved against Norwich City on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old has contributed three goals and three assists in 27 appearances for his London club during the 2019-20 campaign.
