Queens Park Rangers could damage Tottenham Hotspur's chances of securing fourth spot by defeating the North London club at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Queens Park Rangers could stretch their lead to five points from the drop zone if they claim a victory over Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, while Harry Redknapp's team are desperate to secure their spot in fourth place.

Mark Hughes is likely to keep Joey Barton and Samba Diakite holding the midfield, which will allow Adel Taarabt and Jamie Mackie to provide support to the lone striker, which could be Bobby Zamora.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be eager to overcome their 5-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, with goalkeeper Brad Friedel expected to return to the side in place of Carlo Cudicini.

Younes Kaboul is likely to miss out with a knee injury, which should allow Ledley King and William Gallas to form a partnership at the back.
