The All-Stars took the lead in the 20th minute when Kaka scored from the penalty spot after Nacer Chadli handled in the box, while minutes later David Villa doubled his side's advantage.

Harry Kane got a goal back before the break, but Spurs were unable to force an equaliser in the second half as they fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Nick Rimando: The keeper made several fine stops to keep Kane at bay before the striker finally produced an effort too good for him to handle. (7/10)

Tony Beltran: Made a few good runs down the right to support his side's attacking move. Solid enough at the back against Chadli. (7/10)

Omar Gonzalez: Struggled to deal with the threat of Kane due to the forward's movement, leading to several chances for the striker. (5/10)

Matt Besler: Made a few good aerial interventions to stop crosses into the box, but also struggled with the presence of Kane. (5/10)

DaMarcus Beasley: Was given trouble by the runs of Walker down the left, and nearly made one bad defensive error but was bailed out by Rimando. (5/10)

Midfield

Dax McCarty: Had a few good moments in the middle of the field as he stopped Tottenham's range of passing. Showed sound positional sense at the back. (6/10)

Graham Zusi: The midfielder had one early effort that went wide of the post, but struggled to make an impact in the match. (5/10)

Gyasi Zardes: Had a few nice touches early in the match, but faded in the latter stages of the first half. (5/10)

Kaka: Showed his composure from the penalty spot by drilling his effort past Vorm. Provided the second goal with an effort across the face of goal, which Villa turned into the net. (7/10)

Attack

David Villa: Displayed predatory instincts in the final third to steer Kaka's effort into the net. Had a few neat touches in and around the box. (6/10)

Clint Dempsey: Made a nuisance of himself in the penalty area to trouble Alderweireld and Vertonghen. Could have scored from close range, but was denied by a good tackle from Vertonghen. (6/10)

Chad Marshall: Strong presence at the back in his time on the pitch. (6/10)

Michel Vorm: Didn't command his box well in the first half as he struggled to communicate with Alderweireld and Vertonghen. Could do nothing with either goal. (5/10)

Kyle Walker: Made a few surging runs into the final third to trouble Beasley. (6/10)

Jan Vertonghen: Struggled to deal with crosses into the box and was harried by Dempsey, leading to half-chances for the All-Stars. (5/10)

Toby Alderweireld: Was not a commanding presence at the back and struggled with the movement of Villa and Dempsey in the final third. (5/10)

Ben Davies: The Welshman was busy down the left and offered himself as an attacking outlet. Crossing from the wing was inconsistent. (6/10)

Midfield

Eric Dier: Didn't get up to the pace of the game and was booked in the 36th minute. (5/10)

Nabil Bentaleb: Fared slightly better than his teammate in the middle of the park, but looked short of match sharpness. (6/10)

Nacer Chadli: Sloppy mistake led to the All-Stars' penalty and was inconsistent with his attacking play down the left flank. (4/10)

Mousa Dembele: Was a strong outlet for his side and made a few things happen in the final third. (6/10)

Christian Eriksen: Not his usual self, although he did manage to create one opening for Kane. Definitely looked short of match fitness and sharpness. (6/10)

Attack

Harry Kane: The England international gave the All-Stars all sorts of problems at the back and on another day could have had a hat-trick. He showed that he had not lost his form of last season with a sublime finish into the top corner with his strike from distance just before the break. (8/10)

Luke McGee: Was not called on to perform any saves in his time on the pitch. (5/10)

Kevin Wimmer: Fared better than his defensive colleagues in the first half, but didn't have to deal with Villa and Dempsey. (6/10)

Federico Fazio: Made one good intervention to stop an attack down the right. Solid presence in the second half. (6/10)

Kieran Trippier: Stopped his side going three goals down with a block on the line and also provided an attacking outlet down the right. (7/10)

Danny Rose: Showed his ability with a raiding run down the left, but none of his teammates could latch on to his cross into the box. Made one excellent challenge on Castillo in the penalty area. (7/10)
