Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood: 'Top four tough to reach'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood says that reaching a Champions League spot will be a "tough" ask.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood concedes that reaching a Champions League spot will be a tough ask, but has not given up hope.

The North London outfit are currently sixth in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth spot.

"Realistically the top four is going to be tough," Sherwood said in Friday's press conference. "If we can get something at Anfield it will be huge because it will give us a massive platform. Then if we take maximum points in the last six games we will be very close to being fourth."

Spurs will take on Liverpool this Sunday.
