Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has expressed his delight at his side's performance against Tottenham Hotspur.
Wolves battled to a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane and, while the result extends the Midlands club's winless streak to seven games, McCarthy was full of praise for his players after the match.
"I'm very proud of the performance and think I am entitled to be," he told Sky Sports News.
"We have had to defend, as everybody is saying this week, against potential Premier League winners.
"I think we have been great. I'm delighted with the performance."
Wolves remain in 16th place in the Premier League after the result, just one point clear of the relegation zone.
