Michael Dawson confident of Champions League qualification

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson believes that the team is "in with a great shout" of qualifying for the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur captain Michael Dawson has claimed that the team is "in with a great shout" of finishing in the top four this season.

Spurs are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, four points off the Champions League places.

They continue their quest for European football on Saturday evening with a trip to London rivals Chelsea.

"The top four is our aim," Dawson, 30, is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"At the start of the season we set out our goals - to win a trophy, to be in the top four. We are still in with a great shout of doing that."

Tottenham travel to Chelsea having failed to win at Stamford Bridge since 1990.
