Southampton are poised to join the pack of clubs looking to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper this summer, according to a report.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to add another goalscorer to his squad to play alongside Rickie Lambert, but knows he will face competition from Hull City and Norwich City.
The Saints will test Celtic's resolve with a bid in the region of £8m for the 25-year-old to beat the Tigers to his signature, reports The Mirror.
Hooper scored 31 goals in all competitions for the Bhoys last season.
