Team News: Sunderland, Southampton both make changes

Southampton and Sunderland make multiple changes to their teams for tonight's match.

Southampton have made 10 changes for tonight's Capital One Cup match against Sunderland.

Jay Rodriguez is the only player who keeps his place, which means starts for the likes of Kelvin Davis and Gaston Ramirez.

Harrison Reed also makes his debut for the away side.

Wes Brown gets his first start for Sunderland since January 2012, while Gus Poyet makes seven other changes to his team, with Vito Mannone in goal and Adam Johnson returning to the starting XI.

Sunderland: Mannone; Celustka, Bardsley, Brown, O'Shea; Ki, Gardner, Colback, Johnson, Giaccherini; Altidore.
