Victor Wanyama ready to take anger out on Leicester City

Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama warns Leicester City to expect a backlash from the Saints following their defeat to Sunderland in their last match.

Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has revealed that he is looking to take his frustration from his side's defeat to Sunderland out on Leicester City in their Premier League clash.

The Saints went down to a 2-1 loss at the Stadium of Light last week as two penalties from Jordi Gomez fired the Black Cats to the victory.

Wanyama has confessed that he was annoyed with his team's performance and is now eyeing three points against the Foxes to get Ronald Koeman's men back to winning ways.

He told the club's official website: "I think Leicester will be harder than Sunderland because they are really motivated and they have been winning their home games.

"It was a disappointing result against Sunderland. It was nice to be back but I was very angry after the game because we didn't play our best. It's important to get back to winning ways. We know where we can be and where we can finish so we need to get back to our best.

"We are frustrated in the dressing room and we are angry. Come Saturday we need to be ready for the game, we need to get back to winning ways. It's not just about the Leicester game. In all the remaining games we will have to show that aggression to get the results."

Southampton are seventh in the Premier League ahead of their game at the King Power Stadium.
