The Southampton players have shown their support for Jay Rodriguez by warming up in shirts bearing the 24-year-old's number nine.
Rodriguez was stretchered off in last Saturday's 4-2 loss at Manchester City, and it was later revealed that the striker had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.
The former Burnley striker was thought to be in consideration for Roy Hodgson's England squad to travel to Brazil before he picked up the injury.
