Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino says that he is "really happy" with his side's start to the season.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his delight in his side's start to the Premier League season.

The Saints, who face Stoke City this weekend, currently sit fifth in the league table after taking 18 points from nine fixtures.

"So far, we're really happy with the season we're having," Pochettino said in a press conference. "The players deserve all of the credit. [Stoke] are still a very physical team, so it's clear that we will face a very difficult opponent on Saturday."

Southampton have suffered just one defeat in their opening nine games of the season.
